"When I first met Hailey, she was a patient coming in for a facial. Her and I hit it off right off the bat. Right then I knew she would be a great fit for my boyfriend’s best friend, Preston. I had run home to talk to Preston about her and he was like, “Absolutely, let’s set up a double date”. I knew Hailey would be a little nervous, obviously going into a blind double date basically and her and I just met. So I texted her saying no stress whatever you wanna do there’s no pressure. We then had gone out to Downtown Phoenix and of course the rest is history. I am so grateful for her walking in as my patient to becoming Preston’s future wife and my best friend. "Hailey and I first met at the UofA, but not quite officially yet. We just had the same classes as we were in the same major. As I thought she was going to go to Colorado for her Master’s degree, I ended up finding out that she was going to go to ASU with me. At ASU, we immediately hit it off and connected on so many levels. It was here on out that the next two years of grad school were filled with countless nights of laughter, happiness, country music, sign language lessons, tears (happy and sad), and knowing that I had someone to call my best friend who was there to go through all of the ups and downs of not just graduate school, but life itself. She brought me genuine peace during what should’ve been the 2 most stressful years of my life. It was always so easy and seamless with Hailey and even though we haven’t been friends for long, it’s felt like she’s been there for me all my life. When you meet Hailey, you just know she’s a true gem and you don’t want to lose her. It was during grad school that I remember the night (of many) that we were walking to the garage after one of our long days of school and clinicals. On this specific night I remember Hailey told me about this boy she met. That boy was Preston. She had the biggest smile on her face and I’ve never seen a person genuinely glow from the happiness she was feeling. A few weeks go by and she told me “Kerstyn, he’s the one. I know it.” And I’ve never been filled with so much happiness just by feeling the immense happiness Hailey was giving off after meeting Preston. From here on out I loved our after class walk talks to get updates on how they were doing. And here we are. She was right from the beginning. As Hailey always says, when you know you’ll know. And I’m so happy she was able to meet her person especially as it was someone like Preston who brings out the best in her. And I’m so happy Preston and I were both lucky enough to have crossed paths with Hailey who’s just the most genuine girl and a literal ray of sunshine to anyone who comes across her. Congrats you two! I can’t wait to celebrate your guys’ life of joy and happiness together!"
